HIVE artspace

HIVE artspace is an art gallery and artist collective based in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. The collective consists of an art gallery run by volunteers, the resident artists in the studios on the premises, and a wide-ranging community of exhibiting artists, from local to national, and from as far away as Greece and Italy.

The mission of HIVE artspace is to inspire, motivate and support our artists, to work together to bring independent art into a gallery setting, and to actively participate in, cultivate and nurture the growing creative community within York City.

HIVE has new exhibits every month that open on First Friday each month, and they are free and open to the public.

• OCTOBER 19, 5-9pm: FALL FIREFLY NIGHT MARKET  - Arts, crafts, upcycled thrift and more will be set up along the 100 block of E. King St, plus music, food trucks, and more! Free to attend! Interested in being a vendor? Click HERE.

• OCTOBER 22, 6-8pm: ADULT TRICK OR TREAT - visit participating merchants to sample various Collusion Tap Works' beers and receive a stamp to complete a Day Of The Dead Calavera artwork. Must be 21 & Up with ID. Free.

• NOVEMBER 30, TIME TBD: SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY & HOLIDAY MARKET - Come out to support all of your favorite independent small businesses to celebrate the official start of the holiday shopping season!

• EVERY FIRST FRIDAY, 5-9pm - The opening of a new monthly themed exhibit at HIVE artspace, plus all of the shops & galleries are open late for the evening!
