HIVE artspace is an art gallery and artist collective based in historic downtown York, PA, consisting of the HIVE artspace gallery and the HIVE artspace resident artist studios.
HIVE artspace is an art gallery and artist collective based in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. The collective consists of an art gallery run by volunteers, the resident artists in the studios on the premises - Fiel Patricio, Sue Leyland, and Sarah Wood, and a wide-ranging community of exhibiting artists, from local to national, and from as far away as Greece and Italy.
The mission of HIVE artspace is to inspire, motivate and support the members of the Collective in their artistic endeavors, to work together to bring independent art into a gallery setting, and to actively participate in, cultivate and nurture the growing creative community within York City.
HIVE has new exhibits every month that open on First Friday each month, and they are free and open to the public. We hope you will come visit!
IMPORTANT: In an effort to "flatten the curve" regarding the Corona virus, HIVE artspace will be closed this weekend. We will see how things play out in the coming days and make a determination about extending the closure at that time. Please check our social media before coming to visit. Thank you for your support and understanding. Please wash your hands often, be sure to hydrate, and stay healthy.
Regular gallery hours are Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-4, First Fridays 5-9, and by appointment.
