HIVE artspace

HIVE artspace is an art gallery and artist collective based in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. The collective consists of an art gallery run by volunteers, the resident artists in the studios on the premises, and a wide-ranging community of exhibiting artists, from local to national, and from as far away as Greece and Italy.

The mission of HIVE artspace is to inspire, motivate and support our artists, to work together to bring independent art into a gallery setting, and to actively participate in, cultivate and nurture the growing creative community within York City.

HIVE has new exhibits every month that open on First Friday each month, and they are free and open to the public.

• EVERY FIRST FRIDAY, 5-9pm - The opening of a new monthly themed exhibit at HIVE artspace, plus all of the shops & galleries are open late for the evening!

• DECEMBER 21-JANUARY 2 - HOLIDAY BREAK - The gallery will be closed except for artwork pick-up and drop-off. Join us for the opening of a brand new exhibit on January 2, 5-9pm.

• JANUARY 31, 11:30-5:00 - CHAMPAGNE STROLL: Join us for The Champagne Stroll in downtown York as you visit all over downtown with samples at each stop. 13+ participating stops and a sample drink and/or food at each stop. All within walking distance. Cost is $25. Link HERE for details.​​
